PBA MEP Engineers Honored with Chapter / Regional ASHRAE Awards

ASHRAE has awarded PBA and Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) with both Chapter and Regional Technology Awards. SVSU places a strong emphasis on being one of the most energy efficient universities in the State of Michigan. In 2013, SVSU reported that of the State’s 15 public universities that submitted energy data that year, SVSU had the lowest utility cost per square foot.

MEP Engineering Design and Architectural Lighting for Modern NMU Classroom Building

Peter Basso Associates provided MEP design services and architectural lighting design for the NMU Jamrich Hall - a modern classroom building, that includes five large lecture halls, where more than 40 percent of university classes are held. The newly LEED Certified Jamrich Hall also houses academic department offices for sociology, social work and anthropology, the English department, the math and computer science department, and the criminal justice department.
