King Hussein Cancer Center chose to greatly expand its facility in response to increasing needs for cancer care in Jordan and neighboring countries. The approximate 430,000 square foot facility includes provisions for 152 adult and pediatric inpatients, as well as comprehensive diagnostic treatment facilities and outpatient clinics.  The new facility is connected to the existing facility by a bridge which crosses a major thoroughfare.

Peter Basso Associates provided mechanical and electrical engineering design services for the $120 million expansion of the Kellogg Eye Center.  Completed in 2010, the building is an eight-story, 220,000 square foot research and clinical tower located next to the existing Eye Center on Wall Street.  The Brehm Diabetes Research Center utilizes about 33,000 square feet of the addition.
