Two Peter Basso Associates promotions - Bill Edgerton, CPD to Principal and Nate Mielke to Associate were recently featured in CAM Magazine, "The Voice of the Construction Industry" and the magazine for the Construction Association of Michigan.
Edgerton started his career with PBA as a high school co-op in 1996 and continued his co-op position at PBA while attending college. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 and in 2007 became Certified in Plumbing Design by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. https://www.aspe.org/
A member of PBA’s Higher Education Group, Edgerton is well versed in the technical production of plumbing systems design. His experience also includes building heating and cooling load analyses and HVAC system design. Throughout Edgerton’s 21 years’ of experience, he has worked on many notable and award-winning projects, including LEED Gold certified Eastern Michigan University’s, Mark Jefferson Science Complex, Ypsilanti, MI Ferris State University’s University Center, Big Rapids, MI and Western Michigan University’s Western Heights Residence Hall Complex, Kalamazoo, MI.
Nathan Mielke, a member of PBA’s Commissioning Group, received his Bachelor of Science degree in HVACR Engineering Technology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and was hired shortly thereafter by PBA as a Commissioning Authority. He is an active member of the Building Commissioning Association https://www.bcxa.org/, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers https://www.ashrae.org/ and Mechanical Service Contractors of America https://www.mcaa.org/msca/
In Mielke’s 21 years of experience, he has provided commissioning services to a number of notable projects including Oakland University’s School of Engineering and Computer Science Building Commissioning, Rochester, MI, Mid Michigan Community College’s Campus Unification Project Commissioning, Mount Pleasant, MI and Saginaw Valley State University’s Wickes Hall Renovation Commissioning, University Center, MI.
