Peter Basso Associates, Michigan’s largest MEP consulting-only organization, is pleased to welcome Jeff Haynick, Nicholas Friedrich, Brian Chinery and Joel Maguire to its staff.

Electrical designer, Jeff Haynick has joined PBA’s Healthcare – Laboratory (HCL) group. Haynick has an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from St. Clair Community College. He has played an integral role as an electrical designer on projects such as Concordia University’s new Simulation and Athletic Training facility as well as Henry Ford Health System’s Internal Medicine Expansion project in Novi, MI.
Nicholas Friedrich brings more than 20 years of experience as an electrical designer. Friedrich is a recent addition to PBA’s K-12 group, and a returning employee of PBA. Specializing in outdoor lighting systems as well as power distribution systems and power system evaluations, Friedrich has provided design services for Onsted Community Schools, and Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, as well as dozens of school districts in and around Southeast Michigan.
Initially joining PBA as a contract employee, Brian Chinery recently joined PBA’s Higher Education Group (HED) full-time. Chinery has provided mechanical design services for noteworthy projects like Michigan State University’s Breslin Student Events Center Facility Upgrade and Addition as well as Michigan State University’s 1855 Place, both of which are located in East Lansing, MI. Chinery brings over 12 years of experience to the team.
Joel Maguire has joined PBA as a CAD Specialist, providing design services across the board. Most notably, Maguire has provided services for the Crawford AuSable School District 2015 Bond Work in Grayling, MI. Maguire anticipates earning his Associate’s Degree in CAD Product Design from Oakland Community College in December.
