PBA Hires Engineers L. Jocham, T. Cremonte, and S. Bishop

Former Co-Ops Join PBA as Full-Time Engineers

Peter Basso Associates (PBA), Michigan’s largest MEP consulting-only organization, is pleased to announce that it has hired three former PBA co-ops as full-time engineers: London Jocham, Tom Cremonte and Shai Bishop.

London Jocham started his career with PBA as an electrical engineering co-op in January of 2018 for PBA’s K-12 group. Jocham received his Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Lawrence Tech University, Southfield, MI and became a full-time engineer in January. Notable project contributions include his electrical engineering design for Northville Public Schools 2017 Bond, Hillside Middle School Addition & Renovation, Northville, MI; Trenton Public Schools 2018 Bond, Anderson Elementary School, Trenton, MI and Troy School District 2013 Bond Projects, including Smith Middle School, Troy, MI.

In May of 2016, Tom Cremonte started his career with PBA as a mechanical engineering co-op for its Commissioning group. He continued his career as a co-op with PBA until joining the firm as a full-time mechanical engineer in 2019, after graduating from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Cremonte’s notable project contributions include mechanical engineering design for Siena Heights University, Adrian Campus Energy Master Plan Existing Building Commissioning (Retro-Commissioning), Adrian, MI; University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus Athletics South Competition and Performance Project, Ann Arbor, MI and Ferndale Public Schools, Ferndale High School, Nexant/DTE Energy Retro-Commissioning, Ferndale, MI.

Shai Bishop was first hired as a PBA electrical engineering co-op in May of 2017 and continued as a co-op with PBA’s Corporate Office and Government group (COG) until joining full-time after she earned a Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Lawrence Tech University, Southfield, MI. Notable PBA project contributions include Macomb Township Fire Station 1 and Sheriff Substation 7 redesign and construction, Macomb Twp., MI; Interlochen Center for the Arts Music School Addition, Interlochen, MI and the Shelby Township 41-A District Court in Shelby Township, MI.
