7 Summer Term Co-Ops Join MEP Engineering Design Firm

Co-Ops to Experience Hands-On, Professional MEP Design Engineering  Experience

Peter Basso Associates (PBA), Michigan’s largest MEP engineering organization, is pleased to announce seven summer term co-ops.

New summer co-ops include Kody Rhodes, 2^nd term co-op for the Health Care / Lab group, Yatharth Bansal, 1^st term co-op for the Health Care / Lab group, Marissa Mizwa, 1^st term co-op for the Corporate / Governmental group, Jared Pechette, 1^st term co-op for the K-12 group, Jacob Garafalo, 1^st term co-op for the Healthcare / Lab group, Alexis Rogers, 1^st term co-op for the Higher Education group and Jacob Killian, 1^st term co-op for the Higher Education group.

Kody Rhodes is a student at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, MI and anticipates graduating in 2020 with a degree in mechanical engineering. During his previous summer co-op term at PBA, Kody was actively involved in the mechanical engineering design of the Automotive Lab Renovation at Adient in Plymouth, MI. In addition, Rhodes provided mechanical design services for the Detroit Medical Center Children’s Hospital of Michigan Critical Care Tower, Detroit, MI.

Yatharth Bansal is starting his 1^st co-op term with PBA’s Health Care / Lab group this May. Bansal currently attends the University of Detroit Mercy and anticipates graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020.

Marissa Mizwa is currently pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. Mizwa will be joining PBA’s Corporate / Governmental group. Mizwa is currently president of LTU’s ASHRAE Student Branch and a student member of the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI).

Jared Pechette is a 1^st term co-op for PBA’s K-12 group. Pechette is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO. Pechette is a student member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Jacob Garafalo is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Garafalo is a 1^st term co-op for the Healthcare / Lab group. Garafalo is a member of ASME and IEEE.

Alexis Rogers is a mechanical engineering student at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Rogers received a Presidential Academic Scholarship to attend Oakland University. Rogers will be joining PBA’s Higher Education group as a 1^st term co-op.

Jacob Killian is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI. Killian will be joining PBA’s Higher Education group as a 1^st term co-op.
