MEP Engineering Design Firm PBA, Announces 4 Second Term Winter Co-Ops

Winter Term Co-Ops Will Continue to Gain Hands-On, Professional MEP Design Engineering Experience

Peter Basso Associates (PBA), Michigan’s largest MEP consulting-only organization, is pleased to announce its winter term co-ops: Erin Hintz, Nicholas Polega, Vladimir Runde and Sarmad Shaman.

Erin Hintz is an Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) student at Oakland University (OU), Rochester, MI. Hintz will be a 1st year second term winter co-op with Peter Basso Associate’s Higher Education group. Hintz has experience with CATIA V5, MATLB, Visual Basic and Verilog programs. She anticipates graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from OU in 2020.

Nicholas Polega is in his senior year as an Electrical Engineering student at Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI. Polega anticipates graduating next May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Over the past few years, Polega brings with him previous electrical engineering co-op experience, which he garnered from a major Detroit utility company. Polega will be a second term PBA co-op this winter for its Health Care / Labs group.

Vladimir Runde is in his second year at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Runde is currently studying Mechanical Engineering and anticipates graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. As a member of the Army National Guard, Runde has experience in maintaining electrical and hydraulic systems. He will continue his role as a co-op this winter for PBA’s Higher Education group.

Sarmad Shaman is an electrical engineering student at Wayne State University and anticipates graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering this May. As a student, Shaman has been involved in designing and testing a traffic control system circuit at Wayne State University. Shaman will be a second term co-op this winter with PBA’s Higher Education group.
