Peter Basso Associates, is pleased to announce the hiring of three summer MEP engineering co-ops: Yonan Mansoor, Jake Ryba and Matt Doppel, a second term PBA co-op.
Yonan Mansoor has joined PBA’s Corporate Governmental design group as a mechanical engineering co-op. Mansoor is a mechanical engineering student at Oakland University (Rochester, MI) and anticipates graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering this year.
In addition to a background in carpentry, Mansoor has experience in mechanical engineering in both the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Most recently, Mansoor was a Quality Lead for one of the 'Big Three' automotive manufacturers.
Also joining PBA as a co-op, is Jake Ryba. Ryba is a student at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI) and anticipates earning his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2023.
Ryba, an electrical engineering co-op, will experience hands-on learning as an integral team member of PBA's Health Care / Laboratory design group. Ryba currently serves as Secretary for the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) student chapter at Michigan State University.
Returning to PBA as a second term electrical engineering co-op is Matt Doppel, an electrical engineering student at Oakland University (Rochester, MI).
In 2020, Doppel joined PBA as a co-op for its Corporate Governmental design group. During his first co-op term, Doppel played an integral role in the electrical engineering design for a tenant improvement project for Bedrock Detroit (Detroit, MI). Doppel will start a new chapter this May at PBA, by taking on electrical engineering co-op responsibilities for PBA's K-12 school design group.
