MEP Engineering Firm Promotes A. Ciaramitaro, T. Cavanaugh and J. Roop

Peter Basso Associates (PBA), Michigan’s largest MEP consulting-only organization, is pleased to announce three promotions.

Celebrating promotions are Anna Ciaramitaro, Julie Roop and Tonya Cavanaugh.

Anna Ciaramitaro has been promoted from Accounting Manager to Controller. Anna started her career with PBA in 2012 where her responsibilities have included General Ledger Reconciliation and Financial Statements processing, Billing, AR, AP, Cash Flow management, Budgets & Forecasts, and Business Insurance. Anna provides project accounting support to PBA project managers, and also supports the HR and Marketing departments. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Salem State University. Anna began her career in 1995 as an Accounting & Human Resources Manager for a Computer Software Engineering firm with offices in Michigan, Chicago, Boston, and Buffalo. 

Tonya Cavanaugh has been promoted from CAD Support Manager to Director of CAD Services. Tonya has been with PBA for 26 years’. Her CAD and technical computer background is broad and includes experience using AutoCAD versions 2.6 through 2019. Tonya has also recently began working with Revit. Tonya leads a team who assist PBA Project Leaders with the technical production of a project from the initial creation of a project’s CAD files and subsequent updates through the project’s completion. Tonya coordinates the plotting and reproduction of projects, as well as the coordination of CAD file conversions between clients, subconsultants and PBA. 

Julie Roop joined PBA in 2000 as Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. After learning more about the A/E/C industry and becoming involved in the coordination of conferences and trade shows, she moved into the role of Marketing Assistant until her recent promotion to Marketing Coordinator in December (2018). Julie is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and has an Associate’s degree in Police Evidence and Technology from Oakland Community College.
