Illuminart Promotes Brienne Willcock, MIES, LC, to Senior Associate

Willcock, MIES, LC is a recent recipient of Lighting Magazine's Prestigious "40 Under Forty" Award

Willcock recently served as president of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) in Detroit and is currently serving as the IES Annual Conference Chair. She has participated in the U.S. Dept. of Energy’s CALiPER (Commercially Available LED Product Evaluation and Reporting) Program and is skilled in both 2D and 3D design applications. As a project manager, she has provided services for in-depth investigation of LED product research, comparative analysis of products, and evaluation of performance data. Some of her most notable lighting design projects include the Cobo Convention Center interior and exterior renovation in Detroit and the Detroit Institute of Arts Kresge Court renovation. She has also provided lighting design guidelines, evaluations and specifications for the General Motors Corporation.

This April, Willcock received a '40 under Forty' award from Lighting magazine - a London-based internationally recognized lighting design publication. Willcock was the first recipient from the State of Michigan to receive the award. The international honors program identifies the ‘most talented and promising individuals working in the lighting design industry from around the world.’ Willcock and 39 other recipients were selected from 250 nominees.
