PBA Promotes Gibbs, PE, LEED AP and Seidl, PE to Principal

Peter Basso Associates (PBA), Michigan’s largest MEP consulting-only organization, is pleased to announce two promotions.

Celebrating promotions to Principal are vice president Scott Gibbs, PE, LEED AP and vice president, Joe Seidl, PE.

Gibbs, PE, LEED AP, a professional engineer and a LEED accredited professional, started his career with PBA as a co-op in 2000. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Detroit in Detroit, MI. As an integral member of PBA’s higher education group, some of Gibbs most notable projects include The University of Michigan, William W. Cook Law Quad Legal Research Library Reading Room Lighting Improvements project, Phase I and II, Ann Arbor, MI, Washtenaw Community College, Occupational Education Building Renovation LEED Silver Design, Ann Arbor, MI, University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus Athletics South Competition and Performance Project Indoor Track, Sports Performance, Lacrosse Building, Ann Arbor, MI and Western Michigan University, Western Heights Residence Hall Complex, Kalamazoo, MI.

Mechanical engineer, Joe Seidl, PE, started his career as a co-op with PBA in 2002. In 2003, Seidl, PE received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Seidl has been a mechanical design leader in PBA’s higher education group, having worked on high profile projects such as Eastern Michigan University’s Mark Jefferson Science Complex, LEED Gold, Ypsilanti, MI, University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center Expansion and Diabetes Research & Analysis Center, Ann Arbor, MI and Michigan State University’s Breslin Student Events Center, Facility Upgrade and Addition, East Lansing, MI.
