B. Roop to Present at MSBO's 79th Annual Conference & Exhibit Show

Bob Roop, CPD, LEED AP, PBA's K-12 group leader, will be presenting on the subject of facilities, planning, design and construction along with Bill Chatfield, of Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, and Eduardo Blanc, AIA, IA and Nandita Mishra, LEED AP of TMP Architecture, Inc. The presentation will be on May 3 at MSBO's 79th Annual Conference & Exhibit Show at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI.Those attending the presentation should expect to, 'learn the principles of the planning and designing of educational facilities; options in methods of construction management; selection of design and construction professionals; and the bonding process, including laws, bidding requirements and record keeping.'

Roop has 26 years of experience in mechanical design, and specializes in facility studies, pre-bond planning and systems evaluation. He is a USGB LEED Accredited Professional and is Certified in Plumbing Engineering (CPD). Roop is also an active member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE); the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); Council Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) and International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHIPA).
